Our Spirit

SPIRIT OF THE CONGREGATION

Upon receiving the Charism and internalizing its principles, distinct qualities begin to emerge in our lives. These qualities serve as the foundation of our Congregation's culture, commonly referred to as the spirit of our Congregation. Some of these defining qualities include:

  1. Emulating the beautiful image of Mary

    1. Embracing intimacy with God

    2. Demonstrating a total commitment to fulfilling God's will

    3. Engaging zealously in the growth of the Church

    4. Showing passionate involvement with the suffering and oppressed

    5. Working diligently with humility

  2. Embracing the belief that suffering is necessary for growth and liberation

  3. Reflecting the power of resurrection within us

  4. Fostering a dialogic community united in sisterly friendship

By receiving compassion from the Spirit of Christ as a unique gift bestowed upon the Congregation, and by actively nurturing and embodying this gift in our daily lives, we enable it to permeate the very essence of our Congregation. Through this intentional practice, we cultivate a distinct culture and spirituality that is tailored to our unique Congregation. It is incumbent upon each member of the Congregation to foster and uphold this culture and spirituality within their own individual lives.
