Legacy of Region – A Glimpse

The Maria Mandal region is a thriving seed that originated from the Congregation of the Mother of Sorrows, Servants of Mary in northern India. This region is bound together by a common desire to follow Christ, spread the gospel, and serve both the church and humanity in the northern region, inspired by the example set by the Mother of Sorrows.

Drawing upon the gifts of the Holy Spirit bestowed upon the Congregation, the Maria Mandal region is committed to work with compassion towards the liberation of all people, in order to bring about the reign of God. Presented here is an overview of the region infused with historical significance.
